In this week's case discussion from Dr David Stewart, we look at an 82-year-old male patient with a history of multiple non-melanoma skin cancers. He presented in 2021 with a suspicious lesion on his left loin.

Dr Stewart performed a shave biopsy at the time and the pathology was reassuring so he did not excise the lesion. However, what is your opinion of it?

Please leave your comment today and then check back tomorrow (Tuesday), as we will have an early update to show how the lesion appeared when the patient returned in 2023.

Update #1:

The patient returned for his routine skin check in 2023. Dr Stewart took another biopsy.

What do you think of the lesion now? What would you do next?

The scar on the patient's back is from a lobectomy for lung cancer.
