This month, we point towards a very helpful resource when considering surgical treatments for our patients.

Here are the surgery guidelines provided by the British Society for Dermatological Surgery (BSDS) and the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD).

There are some very useful resources there, and I recommend review.

Of specific note this month, and updated in 2023, is some guidance on bleeding risk and how to manage this. This specific link to a one-page flow chart is especially useful.
