When Dr Chaminda Jayawardena moved to Australia from Sri Lanka, skin cancer medicine was a new area of learning. Working in general practice, she began seeing more patients needing skin checks and lesion assessments, particularly in rural communities where access to care can be limited.
Wanting to build her knowledge and better support her patients, Dr Jayawardena enrolled in HealthCert Education’s Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.
