The below video lecture is one of the eight modules in the Professional Diploma of General Dermatology online course, which is for those wishing to build upon their dermatological knowledge to accurately screen all patients with skin concerns in primary care. The below module covers how to recognise venomous and non-venomous bites and stings, and manage allergic reactions. They will learn to identify the causes of common bites, how to recognise the creature causing the bites and the recommended treatment for these conditions.
