In this week's case, submitted by Dr David Stewart, a 93-year-old man with multiple comorbidities and multiple past non-melanoma skin cancers presents with a rapidly growing lesion on his scalp.
The lesion is painless and the patient is unconcerned, but his family requests that something be done. The patient does not wish to see a specialist and does not want major surgery.
What do you think of the lesion — and more specifically, how would you approach the biopsy and treatment?
